The sub-report analyzing the amount of plastic discharged at barrages and hydropower plants was prepared by Conversio Market & Strategy GmbH on behalf of BKV GmbH. The study was carried out for the joint project "MicBin - Microplastics in Inland Waters" as part of the BMBF research focus "Plastics in the Environment - Sources - Sinks - Solutions".
