BKV and a number of plastics associations and organisations are partners in the pilot study, which for the first time provides data and facts on worldwide plastics flows from production to waste treatment. Conversio Market & Strategy GmbH has carried out extensive regional surveys in 44 countries covering around 60 percent of the world's population and around 80 percent of GDP. This is the first time that data and facts on recycling management in the 44 countries have been available. They highlight the urgent need for action in global waste management and the hot spots for priority measures. In addition to the study, a 16-page report with the main results is available.
