Laurent Auguste folgt als CEO der Duales System Holding GmbH & Co. KG auf Michael Wiener, der in den Beirat wechselt.

 

Wiener, who has been with Grüner Punkt since 2006 and head of the group since 2015, will move to the advisory board on Jan. 1, 2023, reports the Duales System Holding GmbH & Co. KG. Carlos Monreal, founder and president of Circular Resources, the company to which Grüner Punkt belongs as a wholly owned subsidiary, and Ralf Huep, chairman of Grüner Punkt's advisory board, thanked Wiener for his commitment. Wiener had further developed Grüner Punkt into what it is today: a globally respected role model in the implementation of extended product responsibility and a technology leader in plastics recycling. Circular Resources had fully taken over Grüner Punkt in August 2022. Laurent Auguste, CEO of Circular Resources, will reportedly take over management of the holding company. Auguste also thanked Wiener for his work and welcomed further cooperation. Wiener had done an excellent job, he said, "I am proud to succeed him. We have a great responsibility together, because the future of plastic as a material and the dramatic of the plastic waste crisis need solutions now, like we develop and bring them to market."
