We continue our new series of interviews with Thomas Franken, Director K, Portfolio Plastics and Rubber at Messe Düsseldorf. From 8 to 15 October, the K trade fair will once again open its doors to visitors from all over the world. The trade fair is considered an indispensable meeting place for anyone who wants to actively shape the future of the industry. What does K mean for the industry and its prospects in 2025? For Franken, one thing is clear: ‘No other trade fair provides such a wealth of inspiration for the future of the global plastics and rubber industry.’ Among other things, he highlights how this year's motto, ‘Green, smart, responsible,’ is reflected in the key themes and programme of the trade fair.
