Marina Arz thus succeeds her mother, Karin Arz, in the post of managing director of IVK Europe. Karin Arz thus worked for 21 years for the Industrieverband Kunststoffbahnen, which represents the interests of European manufacturers of flexible films, rigid films and coated fabrics made of PVC.

Marina Arz has a degree in political science and brings with her experience in political lobbying. She was able to gain this experience in the European Commission on the one hand and in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on the other. In her new position, she particularly wants to strengthen the association's involvement in the EU initiative "Circular Plastics Alliance".
