Rewindo: Exte is a new premium partner
The Exte Group has joined the nationwide system for recycling old PVC windows.
Bonn-based Rewindo GmbH Fenster-Recycling-Service has already been able to acquire several companies from the extrusion industry as premium partners in recent years. Now, with the Exte Group based in Wipperfürth, another company from this sector has joined the partner network of the nationwide system for recycling old PVC windows, Rewindo GmbH announces. The owner-managed family company Exte reportedly develops and produces products and solutions for the construction industry, such as roller shutter box and window accessory systems, panelling solutions and formwork accessories. The group of companies is said to employ more than 400 people and generates an annual turnover of over 100 million euros. ‘Our company pursues a zero-waste strategy in which 100 per cent of production waste is returned to the material cycle. We were therefore pleased to join the Rewindo premium partner network, as the industry solution with the material cycle for old PVC windows and production waste pursues goals that fit very well with our corporate philosophy,’ says Tobias Marten, Head of Marketing and Product Management. With the addition of Exte, the number of Rewindo premium partners has now risen to 27. ‘We are delighted to have further strengthened the extrusion sector in our network for recycling, resource efficiency and sustainability,’ explains Rewindo Managing Director Michael Vetter. As a new Rewindo partner, Exte has also indirectly joined the Circular Plastic Alliance (CPA) launched by the EU Commission, which includes over 100 companies and associations from the entire plastics value chain. Rewindo itself has been part of this alliance since 2020 via the European Window Profile Association (EPPA).
