Reifenhäuser appoints Marcel Perrevort as Chief Sales Officer

Ulrich Reifenhäuser withdraws from the day-to-day business of the mechanical engineering company and hands over sales management to Perrevort.

Marcel Perrevort (46) has succeeded Ulrich Reifenhäuser as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) since July 1. Perrevort was most recently Managing Director of Reifenhäuser Blown Film. There he formed a dual leadership team with Dr. Andreas Neuss. Eugen Friedel, previously Head of Sales at Blown Film, will succeed him. According to a press release, the family-run machine and plant manufacturer is continuing the generational change that has already been initiated with this decision. Ulrich Reifenhäuser (67), who was responsible for global sales alongside his brother Bernd Reifenhäuser (CEO) for more than 25 years, will continue to be active in associations and committees of the plastics industry and will be available to the Reifenhäuser Group as a representative and consultant with adjusted working hours, according to the press release. Ulrich Reifenhäuser on his successor: “I have been working with Marcel Perrevort for many years now. He knows our business inside out. Knowing that I am handing the position over to competent hands makes it very easy for me.” Jan Karnath (39), nephew of Bernd and Ulrich Reifenhäuser, recently took over the operational management of the Group as Chief Digital Officer. With him the fourth generation is to join the management team.
