Kunststoffland NRW is once again inviting guests to a reception and dialogue with politicians at K 2025.

For the third time, Kunststoffland NRW, the network for the plastics value chain, is hosting a reception on the eve of the opening of the world's leading trade fair, K. National and international decision-makers from business, science, politics, and civil society are invited to discuss current topics in the plastics industry with politicians. This year, the event will take place for the first time at the Rheinterrassen in Düsseldorf, bringing it closer to the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center, according to Kunststoffland NRW. “The opportunities that our reception offers as a stage are enormous,” emphasizes kunststoffland NRW Managing Director Dr. Ron Brinitzer. Against the backdrop of the current geopolitical situation, with massive challenges in terms of energy, supply chains, and prices due to tariffs on the one hand, and increasing demands in terms of the circular economy, digitalization, and a shortage of skilled workers on the other, dialogue is extremely important, according to Brinitzer. Previous receptions in 2019 and 2022 on the occasion of the K trade fair opening would have shown how valuable the opportunity for concentrated exchange with politicians is and how immense the need actually is.

 
According to the information provided, Hendrik Wüst, Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia, Mona Neubaur, Minister for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection, and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia, Lauren Kjeldsen, Chief Operating Officer Custom Solutions, Evonik Industries AG, Wolfram N. Diener, Chairman of the Management Board of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, and Peter Barlog, Deputy Chairman of the Board of kunststoffland NRW e.V., have already confirmed their attendance.
