Plastics Europe Deutschland (PED) is offering a presentation on the effects of the European Packaging Regulation (PPWR) during the FACHPACK 2024 trade fair.
 

During the trade fair, which takes place in Nuremberg from 24 to 26 September 2024, the association of plastics producers Plastics Europe Deutschland (PED) would like to inform visitors about the specific objectives pursued by the PPWR and how the regulations can affect companies in the packaging sector. On Wednesday, 25 September 2024, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., the association invites visitors to a presentation by PED's acting General Managing Director, Dr Alexander Kronimus, in the PACKBOX Expert Forum in Hall 4, Stand 4-209. Under the title ‘Packaging in transition: Key points of the European Packaging Regulation’, the aims and effects of the law will be described. Dr Kronimus emphasises: ‘Last April, many amendments to the PPWR were adopted in the EU Parliament in the final stages of the vote, but some of them are contradictory. Packaging manufacturers should therefore use FACHPACK 2024 to find out once again about the most important key points of the EU Packaging Regulation and get an idea of where the process currently stands.’
