Florian Werner will become CEO of Interzero Plastics Recycling GmbH, effective 1 December.

 

Werner succeeds Stephan Schwarz, who ended his tenure as CEO of Interzero Plastics Recycling earlier this month and is now reportedly moving to ArcelorMittal. Werner was previously head of the "Materials" division at Swiss technology group OC Oerlikon AG. Before that, he held various management positions, mainly in plant engineering. At Interzero, he will now focus on the strategic development and deepening of value creation. In doing so, he will be able to build on and further drive improvements already achieved in the sorting plants and higher levels of recycling - for example, by making plastic waste available for chemical recycling, the company says.
