Dr Axel von Wiedersperg, Managing Director of the Brückner Group, is the new Chairman of the Exhibitor Advisory Board for the K 2028 trade fair in Düsseldorf.


He succeeds Ulrich Reifenhäuser, who had chaired the board since 2004, according to Messe Düsseldorf. The unanimous election of his successor, von Wiedersperg, took place at the inaugural meeting of the Exhibitor Advisory Board, which marked the start of preparations for K 2028. The leading international trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry will take place from 18 to 25 October 2028 at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre.
 
Von Wiedersperg, who holds a doctorate in law, has been Managing Director of the Brückner Group since 2009 and, according to the information provided, has been a member of the K Exhibitors’ Advisory Board since 2023. He was already involved in the preparations for K 2025 and in the strategic development of the trade fair. In addition, he is a member of the Executive Board of the VDMA Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association.

International suppliers from the mechanical engineering, raw materials, processing and plastics recycling sectors are once again expected at the next K trade fair. According to Messe Düsseldorf, exhibitor registration is set to begin in January 2027.
