International Altkunststofftag 2022 in Neuss

On June 28 and 29, the bvse's International Altkunststofftag will take place in Neuss near Düsseldorf.

The bvse Federal Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Disposal has chosen Neuss as the venue for this year's 24th International Altkunststofftag, the central meeting of the international plastics recycling industry in Germany. Due to flood damage, the conference still cannot take place as usual at the Kurhaus in Bad Neuenahr. The industry meeting, which is regularly attended by more than 300 participants from Germany and abroad, is planned with a full program this year. The meeting will start on June 28 with the Central Forum, in which the topic will be the European Commission's plastics strategy under the heading "Plastics strategy promotes the use of recycled materials". This will be followed by workshops again with different professional focuses: The program includes a workshop on the collection and sorting systems of other countries. The Plastics Industry Competence Center, BKV, will also be offering a workshop again, this time on "Ways to more plastics recycling - funding instruments and technologies". Then, on June 29, participants can expect the International Plastics Markets WG and a third workshop offering on recycling-friendly product design. According to the organizers, the program has not yet been finalized. However, interested parties can already register for the 24th International Used Plastics Day on the website www.altkunststofftag.bvse.de.
