Günter Schwank Training Award 2021

Tina Kuhn was awarded the Günter Schwank Prize as the best German process mechanic.

Only those who have achieved remarkable things in vocational training are awarded the Günter Schwank Prize, according to Pro-K, the GKV carrier association, whose chief executive presented the awards. Tina Kuhn did so as the best German process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology. She completed her training at Hengst SE in Münster, a company that manufactures filtration and fluid management solutions, and graduated with the top score of 97 points as the best in her year in the specialty of molded parts. Pro-K sees her as a fine example of successful women in technical apprenticeships. An internship would have sparked the high school graduate's interest in the material. She is now studying plastics technology at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
