The Forum Rezyklat has examined outer and transport packaging and provides information in the guide on which materials in shipping cartons, films, displays and other packaging are suitable for recycling and which are not. The results were summarized by recycling experts from the Forum Rezyklat in two free publications and are available for download on the Forum Rezyklat website. The "Guidelines for evaluating the recyclability of transport packaging" and the "Evaluation model for the use of recyclate in transport packaging films" are intended to help product manufacturers and retailers as well as other players in the shipping of goods to optimize the use of outer and transport packaging. The former provides recommendations for environmentally friendly packaging materials that should ideally be used in outer and transport packaging. The "Evaluation model for the use of recyclate in transport packaging films" reportedly contains a detailed evaluation for the use of recycled plastic (post-consumer recyclate, PCR) in transport packaging films. According to Forum Rezyklat, it is intended to show in which applications recyclate can be used sensibly in films.
