European Plastics Converters’ Association EuPC under new leadership

Erich Cuaz has been the new Director General of the European Plastics Converters (EuPC) since 1 September 2026.
 
In his new role as Director General, Cuaz will head the Brussels office, according to a statement from the EuPC. According to the statement, he will work closely with EuPC President Jean-Marc Galvez, the Executive Board, EuPC members and national networks across Europe. Together, they aim to further develop and implement the association’s strategy and drive forward a clear, forward-looking agenda, the statement adds. This agenda aims to create a competitive, innovative and sustainable environment for the plastics processing industry in Europe. This includes strengthening the industry’s collective voice, supporting scientifically sound and pragmatic policy measures, and creating the conditions for further investment, innovation and the circular economy in Europe. In addition, Cuaz will take over the leadership of Polymer Comply Europe (PCE). The company, which works closely with the EuPC, was founded to support the plastics industry in navigating the increasingly complex EU regulations and is active in areas including regulatory compliance, association management, and projects and studies.
 
According to the given information, Cuaz has extensive experience in the fields of public affairs, communications and sustainability, as well as in-depth knowledge of the European political and regulatory landscape. He previously held senior positions at industry associations and in the private sector.
