Lawyer Julia Große-Wilde has taken over from Dr Oliver Möllenstädt as the new Managing Director of Gesamtverband Kunststoff verarbeitende Industrie e.V. (GKV) with effect from 1 January 2021. The focus of her work will be to accompany the social and political debate on plastics and sustainability, says Große-Wilde. GKV President Roland Roth is pleased to have gained an experienced and well-networked association manager, lawyer and political communicator for the association. "With Ms Große-Wilde, we will successfully master the challenges that lie ahead for the plastics processing industry in cultivating a positive public image of plastics as well as in the political representation of interests for our industry sector," Roth is certain. He thanks at the same time her outgoing predecessor, Dr Oliver Möllenstädt, for more than nine years of dedicated work in the management of the GKV. Under Möllenstädt's leadership, the association was able to significantly expand its political network, which was not least reflected in the relocation of the head office from Bad Homburg to Berlin in 2018, said Roth. Möllenstädt had left the association at his own request on 31 December 2020.
