For visitors to the international industry highlight, where the current topics of plastics recycling will be discussed, it should be very exciting this year, too. The bvse-Bundesverband Sekundärrohstoffe und Entsorgung e.V. (Federal Association of Secondary Raw Materials and Disposal) and its Plastics Recycling Association are inviting you to this event. According to the organisers, never before have plastics, and thus plastics recycling, been so much in the centre of attention as today. Plastics recycling is booming in Germany, and in view of acquisitions, takeovers and restructuring there is a lot going on. The conference starts on Tuesday, 4 June 2019 at 13:30 with the panel discussion "Plastics recycling controversial". In pairs, the topics "Image Plastics", "Design for Recycling" and "Plastics Recycling" will be discussed controversially. Two parallel workshops will follow: Workshop A, led by Dr. Thomas Probst, will focus on "Science and plastics recycling: the future of plastics recycling". Workshop B, hosted by BKV GmbH, will be chaired by BKV Managing Director Rainer Mantel and will address the question of "100 percent recycling for plastic waste?". The workshops will be followed by a traditional barbecue evening at 7 p.m. on the terrace of the Kurhaus Garden, where there will again be an opportunity for networking in pleasant surroundings.
On Wednesday, 5 June 2019, 10:00 a.m., there will be a workshop on packaging design under the direction of Dr. Bosewitz and, in parallel, the public meeting of the AG Internationale Kunststoffmärke. There the current situation regarding the export of plastics to the Far East will be discussed. The International Plastics Recycling Day will be complemented by an exhibitor forum and a product exhibition. The conference is the largest event on plastics recycling in Europe and is attended by an average of 450 participants.
