BMW presents recycling car

At the IAA in Munich, BMW is presenting the i Vision Circular, its vision of a small car that is to be 100 percent recyclable.

The car, which BMW expects to be launched in 2040, can be inspected at the show until September 12. According to the company, the four-seater, which is a good four meters long, is made almost entirely of materials from recycling centers or renewable raw materials and should be able to be completely recycled after its last use. According to BMW, apart from an unpainted, anodized body made of recycled aluminum, the solutions in the car equipped with an electric motor include marbled plastic surfaces, interior materials made of recycled plastic, tires made of natural rubber and a solid-state battery also from recycling.
