BKV Symposium "Future, Plastics, Circulation"
The focus of the BKV Symposium on November 8, 2023 will be on the sustainable use of plastics in a carbon cycle.
After a break caused by the Corona pandemic, the BKV Symposium will take place again this year. In Berlin, the competence center of the German plastics industry will present its latest studies and projects on plastics recycling, recyclability and recyclate use. The contribution of plastics to the carbon cycle is embedded in a future-proof, climate-neutral and sustainable plastics economy. The program includes presentations and panel discussions with experts from renowned institutes such as the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW, GVM Gesellschaft für Verpackungsmarktforschung and Ingenieurgesellschaft HTP GmbH & Co. KG as well as the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI). The event will be opened by State Secretary Michael Hauer from the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the Environment, which is hosting the symposium. Thus, the event will take place at the ministry's state representation in Berlin. Participation is free of charge.
