The general meeting of AVK - Industrievereinigung Verstärkte Kunststoffe re-elected its previous board at the end of November 2022.

 

The association reports that also the board positions were confirmed at the constituent board meeting on Dec. 6, 2022. The board will serve a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2023. Dr. Michael Effing, managing director of industry and management consultancy Amac GmbH, remains chairman of the board and Dirk Punke, managing director of Büfa Thermoplastics Composites, vice chairman; Prof. Jens Ridzewski, IMA Materialforschung und Anwendungstechnik, is back on the board as treasurer; the other board members are Gerhard Lettl, managing director of C. F. Maier Europlast, and Michael Polotzki, Managing Director Menzolit. "It's nice to see the board's work rated so highly that there is no doubt that this will continue for the next legislative period. We are really looking forward to that," said Managing Director Dr. Elmar Witten about the vote of the General Assembly, which took place during the composites event "JEC Forum DACH" in Augsburg on November 29, 2022. AVK is a cooperation partner at the event.
