2022 Annual Report of the FNK

In its annual report, the DIN Plastics Standards Committee (FNK) provides information on the standardization work carried out in 2022.

 

The FNK represents standardization interests in the field of plastics production and processing by participating in the relevant national, European and international committees. BKV is also represented on relevant committees by Managing Director Dr. Ingo Sartorius and Project Manager Stephanie Cieplik. Ingo Sartorius is, among other things, deputy chairman of the advisory board of the FNK. Stephanie Cieplik heads the Plastics and Environmental Aspects Working Group at the FNK and is a member of the Recycling Working Group. In his welcoming address to the 2022 Annual Report, Chairman Michael Weigelt, Managing Director of TecPart - Verband Technische Kunststoff-Produkte e. V., points out the importance of the topic of the circular economy in standardization work during the year under review, and emphasizes that not least the Federal Minister for the Environment, Steffi Lemke, has also recognized and emphasized the value of standardization work.

 

In the annual report, interested readers are informed about the results of the FNK's work in the 2022 financial year and are given an overview of the work in national, European and international bodies. In addition, the report provides clear information on the tasks, organization, staffing and funding of the FNK and systematically lists the structure of the national, European and international working bodies and their interrelationship.
