Companies of all sectors and sizes, designers and students from all over Europe are invited to participate.
 

Works can be submitted for the prestigious Ecodesign Award until April 17. The search is on for innovative ideas and projects that are outstandingly designed and forward-looking. In addition to market-ready products and services, this also includes conceptual and student work. The prize is awarded to projects that demonstrate outstanding environmental and design quality and make an innovative contribution to the transformation towards greater sustainability. The highest state award for ecological design is presented in four categories: product, service, concept and young talent. In addition to design innovations, technical and social innovations are also sought after. The entries go through a multi-stage process in which a panel of design and environmental experts and a top-class jury make the assessment.
 
Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke is looking forward to many new innovative products, concepts, services and young talents' work: "Good design and environmentally friendly products and services are important innovation drivers to solve our environmental crises. The winners of the Federal Ecodesign Award prove this time and again. Designers and creators who know about life cycle assessments and innovative, environmentally friendly materials help us use fewer resources, destroy less of the environment and consume more sustainably".
