The public part of the meeting will begin at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021. The journalist and long-time Stern columnist Hans-Ulrich Jörges is then to give a political assessment of the then fresh result of the Bundestag election: "New beginning sought: Germany after the Bundestag Election." Dr. Alexander Janz from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment will afterwards address the current status and future challenges for the circular economy and climate protection. Gunda Rachut, board member of the Central Packaging Register Office, and Dr. Fritz Flanderka will subsequently present on the topic of "Design4Recycling" before discussing the topic of "more recycling, more quality and more use of recycled materials" with bvse Executive Committee member Henry Forster, bvse Vice President Herbert Snell and the Chairman of the Glass Recycling Association, Marc Uphoff, moderated by bvse General Manager Eric Rehbock.
