bvse: Altkunststofftag in Cologne

Due to the Ahrtal flood disaster, the branch meeting will not take place in Bad Neuenahr this year, but in Cologne.

Under the motto "Recyclates for the Circular Economy," the German Federal Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Disposal (bvse) invites you to the 23rd International bvse Altkunststofftag in Cologne from Nov. 30 to Dec. 1, 2021. On the first day of the congress, starting at 1:00 p.m., experts from the industry, NGOs, and science and research will address aspects of international plastics shipments, plastics bashing, and the contributions of plastics recycling to the circular economy and climate protection based on the Packaging Act. A panel discussion will consider possible directions that plastics recycling might take with the new federal government on the horizon. As usual, the second day of the event will focus on plastics product design in an interdisciplinary dialogue. Also this year at the unusual venue in the Steigenberger Hotel in Cologne, a product exhibition will accompany the Altkunststofftag. A "Kölscher Abend" (Cologne Evening) on Tuesday offers space for exchange.
